On the night of June 10, 1197, fire raged through Chartres, destroying many of the buildings and severely damaging the cathedral. Bishop Regnault de Mouon wanted to rebuild. He sprang into action and wrote letters to all of the noble families of Europe. This is considered by some the very first direct mail campaign.

I’m looking for the text of the actual letter (in Latin or in translation).
To reiterate — I have plenty of direct mail references (e.g. Denny Hatch) to the fact that these letters were written. What I need help finding is the ACTUAL TEXT of the letter. Thank you.
